Biography

Victoria Slavinopera singer, soprano. A graduate of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where she studied singing with Larisa Tetuev, soloist of the Israeli Opera, and took voice lessons in NYC with Olga Makarina, soloist of the Metropolitan Opera. 

 

She started her career as a jazz singer, was a soloist in "Dominanta" the representable ensemble of Kiriat Tivon, where her reprtoire was mainly Pop-Rock, Jazz, Soul, and Hebrew Songs. She also was a soloist of an a-capella  ensemble, where she sang mainly Gospel and many vocal arrangements to Musical hits.

 

Pretty soon, Victoria realized that this repertoire is not suficciant to demonstrate all of her voice abilities, therefore she turned to opera, and started her operatic career.

 

She takes part in respectable events such as "The Jerusalem Festival" and "The Israeli Festival" and sings many title roles in operas such as "L'incoronazione di Poppea" by Monteverdi, "The Magic Flute" by Mozart, "L'enfant et les sortileges" by Ravel, "Der Jasager" by Weill, Opera Highlights such as "Eugene Onegin" and "Iolanta" by Tchaikovsky, "Rusalka" by Dvorak, "Le Nozze di Figaro" and "Cosi fan tutte" by Mozart, "La Boheme" and "Turandot" by Puccini, "Rinaldo" by Handel and much more.

 

Also in her recitals, she performes russian romances, neapolitan songs and other art songs in different languages.

 

Victoria performes in many commercial and private events, where her repertoire includes Operatic pop, Classical and Broadway hits and more.
